Kieran Rose (Chairperson) Kieran Rose (Chairperson)

Co-founder of Gay and Lesbian Equality Network and former Director of Gay HIV Strategies. Author of 'The Evolution of Lesbian and Gay Politics in Ireland'. Extensive involvement in the trade union movement and widely recognised as someone who has had huge influence in the development of social policy in Ireland over the last 25 years. Kieran is a Senior Town Planner by profession.

Christopher Robson Christopher Robson

Co-founder of the Gay and Lesbian Equality Network. Chris has a long history of activism for social justice. His current involvements include being a member of Senator David Norris's team who are working on a re-draft of the civil partnership legislation that Senator Norris has proposed.


Maura Molloy Maura Molloy

Maura has wide experience in community, co-operative and private sector organisations. She has a long association with c ommunity activism and the lesbian community, including seven years involvement with the Dublin Resource Centre. Maura has significant senior management experience in the IT corporate environment with specific project and team management experience and expertise.

Cathryn Mannion Cathryn Mannion

Director of the National Traveller Women's Forum. Cathryn is former Chair of the Community Workers Co-operative and lives in Galway.




Will Peters Will Peters

Will Peters is a former Director of Gay HIV Strategies and was a Steering Group member of the European Gay AIDS Prevention (GAP) Network. He has worked as a community development worker for over ten years and was a founding member of the national network of LGB organisations in Ireland. He is a member of the Central Group of the Community Workers Co-operative and a Board Member of Schools Across Borders – an NGO working with young people in Ireland, Israel and Palestine. He has worked on equality research projects in Bosnia Herzegovina, Albania and Kosovo. He works currently with the Community Links Programme at Dublin Institute of Technology where he co-ordinates programmes for mature students from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds and lectures in community and regional development.

Arthur Leahy

Director of Southern Gay Men's Health Project based in Cork. Arthur is a founder of Cork Gay Community Development Project and has had long term involvement in Cork's Quay Co-operative initiative. He is centrally involved in a substantial sheltered housing initiative in Cork too.
