GLEN Launch Major Research into Lives of Older LGBT People on November 3rd

Brian Purcell, Secretary General of the Department of Justice launched Visible Lives, a major new study identifying the experiences and needs of older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in Ireland. The research, commissioned by GLEN and which has been supported by the HSE and the older people's advocacy group, Age and Opportunity is the first study specifically addressing the needs of this part of the population. The launch took place in Dublin at the Royal Irish Academy on Dawson Street Thursday the 3rd of November.
